Acrylics for Beginners Workshop

In this introductory workshop, students will dive headfirst into the world of acrylic painting! Students will learn about types of paints, brushes, and techniques, while also getting to practice colour mixing, surface preparation, and the basic fundamentals of painting with acrylics. This is a basic course for the beginner artist to come out for a day of fun and exploration to get those creative juices flowing. By the end of the day, artists will get to take home their very own canvas painting!

Woodcut Printmaking Workshop

In this printmaking workshop, students will learn the techniques and process behind woodcut block printing while getting to create their very own series of hand-pulled prints! From learning about the presses, the inks, the paper and the tools, we will cover the basic fundamentals of learning how to woodcut print. In addition, each student will get to take their woodblocks and prints home with them.
